Sam is a Registered Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society & Australian Association of Psychologists. She is an AHPRA endorsed Board Supervisor and a SIRA approved practitioner. She has been in private practice since 2010, treating clients with a wide array of presentations, from depression, anxiety, psychosis, PTSD, relationship difficulties, childhood anxiety, OCD, addictions, and personality disorders. In 2020 she joined the Healthcare Australia COVID-19 Response team and was appointed the Clinical Mental Health Lead/Senior Psychologist, providing clinical governance and support to mental health professionals on the ground. She currently the Lead Psychologist for Healthcare Australia’s program, providing psychological support to residents in Aged Care Facilities in rural NSW.

Her treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-based therapies, ACT, DBT and schema therapy and supportive counselling. She tailors these evidence-based treatments to each client to help empower them to develop the tools and skills necessary to overcome challenges, with an encouraging and empathic approach.
